    Room Description

    Our one-bedroom deluxe apartment is perfect for couples or friends (Twin Beds or SuperKing Double) looking for a private space to call home! At 74m2 this is a spacious fully furnished apartment featuring a private entrance, open plan kitchen and living area, a separate bedroom, and separate bathroom. The bathroom includes WC, shower/bath, sink and accessories. Both the dining and living room areas provide ample additional space for you any friends who pop around to visit. The bedroom is fitted with a deluxe superking bed (can be configured with two single beds), a large wardrobe, shelving, desk and chair, USB ports, adjustable lighting by the bed and additional built-in underbed storage.

    * Utilities are €45 per week - this is not included in the weekly rent price of €663 per week.

    Note: This unit is rented for a fixed monthly rent on the basis of either single or dual occupancy.

    Securing your room

    To secure your room for all you need to do is click the “Reserve Now” button above and complete a reservation form.

    Once we receive your completed application we will a draft Tenancy agreement and send you a link to our online Hub where you can review the tenancy agreement and once happy with the terms and conditions you will be required to pay a €150 booking fee and your booking is secured.

    About one month before your arrival you will be sent an email request to log in to the Hub again and pay a security deposit equal to one months rent and an advance payment of one months rent with future rent instalments automatically charged to your card on the 1st of each month thereafter.

  • What we offer

    Fixed utility charges

    No need to worry about splitting the bills!

    * All our tenants are charged a set fee (Fair Usage Policy Applies) of €55.00** for each week of their tenancy for Utilities & Services which covers Heating, Hot Water, Internet and Waste disposal. This charge is billed monthly in addition to rent due and payable on the 1st of each month via the Mezzino Hub.

    Internet and Wi-Fi

    You will have access to our Wi-Fi service provided by ASK4, offering 100MB speeds throughout the entire building and communal areas. Additionally, you will have 200mb ethernet access in your bedroom with no usage caps.

    Fully fitted kitchen

    Our large modern kitchens are fully fitted, and each includes an oven, separate oven/grill, hob, integrated microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, cookware and utensils. Our 8 bed apartments are even set up with two of everything so there will be no arguments for cooking spaces!

    Private gym and aerobics studio

    Bust membership fees and pump some iron in our on-site gym! Fully equipped with resistance and cardio machines, free-weights and aerobics studio where you can get away from the study and stretch out our join one of our organised classes. You've got no excuse not to get fit now!

    Private and group study hubs

    In addition to the ample private study space provided in your apartment and room we also have two shared study lounges, one fitted out for group study and the other equipped with individual study hubs.

    5th floor student lounge & roof terrace

    Fitted with lazy seating, pool table, table football, board games and coffee dock, our 5th floor lounge is the perfect place to relax and take a break from your studies. If you are a gamer, you’ll love our gaming pod fitted out with the latest in gaming tech to provide the perfect gaming experience. For the sunny days you can sit out and relax on the roof terrace and watch the world go by!

    Cinema room

    Our cinema room is equipped with the latest in audio and visual technology. So, whether you and a few friends want to ‘cast’ something onto the big screen and chill out or come along to some of our movie nights or watch Champions League the choice is yours.

    Postage service and deliveries

    You can shop online to your heart’s content; our reception staff will happily take delivery for parcels and signed-for items.

    On-site laundry (local charge applies)

    Our state-of-the-art laundry facilities allow residents the opportunity to wash and dry their clothes in comfort. No need for queuing as our laundry app will let you see from the comfort of your apartment when machines are in use.

    On-site maintenance team

    If things break or go wrong you have no need to worry, our friendly maintenance team will fix them quickly and cheerfully.

    Our Res-life programme is jam-packed with social events for you and your friends to enjoy.

    Safe and secure

    All entrances are access controlled, the residence is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day and you’ll have no need to worry about keys as we can provide an app for your phone which will unlock your door as you walk up to it. A member of our on-site team is available day or night, so you feel safe and secure all the time.

    Bike storage

    Cycling is one of the best and easiest ways to travel around so if you’re bringing your bike with you, it will always have a home.

    Sustainable Living

    By living with us, you are supporting sustainable living. Highfield House has been built to NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards. We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint, which includes building to high levels of insulation & heating using the latest heat pump technology and power provided by wind sourced electricity, which is supplemented by our own solar panels. We target high levels of waste reduction in all our properties and strongly support residents in reducing and recycling their waste. Highfield House and our sister property; The Westwood, Galway are currently Ireland's only student accommodation who are committed to Ireland's Green Hospitality programme.
